Helping men find their identity in Christ in an oversexualized world.

(Scroll to bottom for bio info / press kit).

Hi there,

If you’re interested in having me speak at your event (pulpit supply, church service, retreat, camp, conference, college, chapel service, parachurch event, podcast, etc.), please fill out the request form below.  I am open to speaking on any biblical, spiritual, and/or life topic.  You can find the subjects I’m most passionate about by perusing my blog topics but all in all, my passion is to see the good news of Jesus come alive in people and to see people follow Jesus with all their hearts.

I founded Crossroads Church (Lansing, MI) in 2006, where I was lead pastor for 13 years. I graduated from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and Cornerstone University. I’m currently pastor Mosaic Church, a 2022 multi-ethnic church plant in inner-city Grand Rapids. We are a part of the Evangelical Covenant denomination.

I’m the author of Beyond the Battle: A Man’s Guide to his Identity in Christ in an Oversexualized WorldI also lead online video conference small groups through the book and have a leader’s guide for those who want to lead their own groups.  For groups info, visit www.beyondthebattle.net.

You can sample my sermons here.

I host the The Flip Side Podcast.

You can read endorsement quotes from previous speaking engagements I’ve done below.

I look forward to connecting with you and hopefully partnering together with you in ministry.

“Noah Filipiak has a unique gift to communicate the unchanging Word of God in a way that connects with the minds and hearts of those far from God. He is relatable and strikes the difficult balance of communicating truths the culture may not want to hear in a way that is palatable. If there is one cultural arena Christians need to enter (but are hesitant to), it’s sexual purity. Noah has just the right voice to not only speak to this issue, but to be heard.”Noel Heikkinen, Teaching Pastor, Riverview Church, Holt MI.  Author of Unchained: If Jesus Has Set Us Free, Why Don’t We Feel Free?

“There are passages of scripture, topics of conversation, and cultural issues that can be and are often divisive within the Church. Noah has a rare ability to speak on such subject matter in a way that doesn’t divide but instead unifies the body. He is able to speak convicting truth from a place of love and hope; calling Christ’s followers to take their place in God’s redemptive plan.”
-Ryan Bushnell, Dean of Students, Great Lakes Christian College, Lansing MI

Noah is a very engaging speaker. He consistently connects with his listeners using a refreshing blend of honesty, humor and insight. He is able to make complex topics seem very accessible to a wide variety of people, and he is not afraid to tackle subjects that most people in the church avoid. Noah is a gifted communicator and I highly recommend him as a speaker.”
-Meg Akehi, former Staff Development and Training Coordinator with Athletes in Action

“Noah is a provocative and faithful leader in today’s church.  When our church has worked with him, he’s been great at coaching, consulting, prodding, and pushing in a way that people remain open to hear him.”
-Tom Arthur, Pastor of Sycamore Creek Church in Lansing, MI

Noah Filipiak has served as a wonderful example to young Christian men and women in our fellowship for many years. He has an energy that makes him easy to engage with, and students at the university find him easy to relate to. His teaching encompasses biblical truths which he challenges us to apply, while being vulnerable in sharing his journey with us along the way.”
-Diana Cook, Campus Staff Minister, InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Noah is a passionate and articulate teacher who connects with this generation of students about the tough aspects of faith. I always am struck by his vulnerability and stories which serve to illustrate whatever biblical truth he is sharing on.” -Matt Rogers, Campus Staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Noah is a great communicator. I love how he helps bring the Bible to life through exciting stories and active visual demonstration. As a speaker he hit home with both students and staff!” -Steve Rice, Director of Camping Programs, Joy El Camps & Retreats, Greencastle PA

“Noah has the unique ability to communicate compellingly to an older, established church audience as he does to a younger, college crowd.  This requires tricky navigation which Noah performs ably.”  -Brian Langford, Campus Director for Michigan State University Cru (Campus Crusade), Elder at Red Cedar Evangelical Free Church
